What Is the FUE Method?
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a hair transplant technique in which hair follicles are extracted one by one using specialized micro-motors and transplanted to the recipient area. Since it does not require incisions or stitches, the risk of scarring is very low.
This method is one of the most widely used techniques worldwide, particularly at hair transplant centers in Istanbul.
Advantages of FUE
Key advantages include the absence of scarring, a faster recovery process, and the ability to treat larger areas.
The FUE method can also be successfully applied to sensitive areas such as the beard and eyebrows.
Procedure Process
The procedure begins with shaving the donor area. After local anesthesia, grafts are harvested one by one using micro motors.
The harvested grafts are placed into the micro-channels at an angle that matches the natural growth direction. The procedure duration can vary between 4 and 8 hours.
